Well, the old parents are in need of a new keyboard/mouse combo because the one they are using is a cheap wireless one that came with their gateway. They like the MX Duo that I have been using on my computer so I'd like to get them something more updated. The one requirement is that the mouse has a recharging station and the mouse itself not tiny.

Any suggestions?

I would go for the MX3100, unless the LCD and touch controls would make a difference. The extra $25 really isn't a big deal, but if it wouldn't be used then there's no point.
