Since more and more people are getting their Quake Live invites (or had them) I figured it'd be time to have a thread for all the [H] Quakers post their Quake Live screen names. So lets hook up and play a few [H] tourney's and CTF matches! :)

Almost exclusively play clan arena... some instagib now and then.

I just got accepted to the beta. I won't be playing 'til I get home from campus. Don't have a real mouse on this laptop. ;)

Cool part is that my MSI Wind runs this game perfectly.

I just got invited but stupid question, how the hell do I actually play with other people? Each time I try to get to a match I always do that beginner tutorial warm up with Crash.

The reason you have to play through the tutorial is because Quake Live practices a skill ranking system. Play through the tutorial (~15min) and you'll be ranked on your personal skill. Once you start playing online you'll see the ranking system icon which is the skill level of the players in the server. This would be the downward/upward arrows (higher lower skills), or the green check (this means of equal skill levels). You can go up or down in the skill set if you choose.

I finally got an invite but can't get the authentication email to ever get here. I have checked my spam but it is like they never send it I guess I will keep trying.

I haven't played Quake 3 in years. Of course, I probably won't enjoy this game at all if they haven't fixed the physics engine's dependency on frame rates, that's one reason I stopped playing it in the first place.

Here's to hoping they've fixed the above hack.
 
I've come to the conclusion my Q3 skills are beyond rusty, they broke apart and were taken away by the wind...
 
Plauged with problems in IE8 and FF3 on Windows7, shame because ive been waiting ages to finally get a beta invite :/
