I know it's no FarCry 2, but Quake 3 is still pure, hardcore fragging fun !!
I've setup a server running the excessive mod (makes all the weapons uber) @ 66.55.131.4

I forgot what excessive mod was til I hopped in that server, absolutely hate it.
 
thats why u shouldve used vanilla, not everyone has 30 mins to download all these mods. u dont need a mod download to get pure hardcore fragging fun
 
thats true but my point still stands, set up a vanilla ffa its just as good as excessive
 
I'm not saying excessive is "better",... just something diff... maybe i'll switch over to a "pure" ffa in the future

I'm not that great of a player, i can hold my own.. but the bots sometimes give me a run for my money :)
 
Can't play in any of these servers with a ping of 120. Oh well, back to QW I go..
 
lmao i was slippery, why u got 120 ping. i had 60 when i shut down utorrent, where u from
 
Needs more players or bots. Excessive is only fun when there's a lot of people.

I was getting 80 ping.
 
Hmmm... good idea, I should add more bots (for when humans aren't avail) :D
