Would a Q6700 at stock be faster than my E6400 at 3.2ghz? I am asking this because I am thinking of building a sff with Q6700 but i do not want to overclock much due to temps. I am dissatisfied with my current tower pc with the e6400 because it is unreliable and takes up alot of space. So im wondering if a stock Q6700 is faster than my 3.2ghz E6400?

Overclocking the Q6700 in a sff is out of the question. You need a massive tower hsf to cool that thing

Folding at home would be faster running on all 4 cores. I run mine 24x7 on water at 70 degrees.. err make that 75 geez its getting hot in here.
