Hey guys, I just read the review posted on tomshardware on the quad core cpu from intel. I'll be upgrading my system in a few months and was wondering if anyone had any idea on the eta for the quad. I'm a dedicated gamer, but I also do alot of 3d application rendering with maya and 3ds and premiere. Based on the performance charts, its ranges from 80-100% increase on the apps I use. Any thoughts or info on this?

any wolrd on pricing at all, even rough ballpark estamates, we talking 500 or like 1300
 
Well rumor has it, when its first released it only be a Extreme Edition. So those processors are like a grand if not more.
