Tedkj would be the person to speak to, but I believe he's heading out on vacation today (length unknown). He's the guy with the 4 GTX280's on one MoBo. I don't think he did anything special other than stick 3 VGA Dummie thingies (don't actually know what they're called) on 3 of the cards and a monitor on the 1st. I'm not sure if there is anyone else that has done 3 or more yet. Most are running two

So in essence, Win XP works without VGA terminators or desktop extension on multi-GPU. That's good news and yet one more reason to stick with XP. My question is, did you have any difficulties OC your second card and if not which OC utility did you employ?From what I understand the dummy plugs are required for Vista. I have 2 Multi-GPU boxes running with XP, with 2 cards each, didn't need plugs to get it working. Also I didn't need to extend the desktop to the 2nd gpu to get it crunching WU's.
