I heard something about the intel qx6700 price dropping to $531. Can anyone confirm on this and when will it occur? I hope the price will drop to that before the summer time, when Im going to build a 1337 rig with watercooling this summer.
 
The Q6600 is the one that is getting its price cut heavily.. The QX6700 quad core does not have any heavy price slashes planned in the immediate future. It will go down I am sure, but nothing like its little brother, the Q6600.
 
I don't have an core 2 duo e6700 maybe your talking to the other guy that has a e6600? I guess im going to get the qx6600 then :)
