Quad 6300/6400 cpu?

Hi all,

Can someone tell me when the Quad 6300 and the 6400 are coming out?
and is there any info on them?

I think it is set for Q1 2007. By End of January-February.

They will probably not be cheap at first.

I was going to upgrade to C2D, but I will wait- it is not easy waiting.
 
I think that 4x4 is a MISTAKE for AMD. AS a computer user and an investor.


Intel was napping for a while, but it may have been regrouping.

Intel is the way to go in the forseeable future.

Quad core will take off once the software is multithreaded.


I am waiting for quad's to shin before upgrading my D 820.

True, for now. However, once AMD's quad-core chips are out and can be used in the 4x4 mobos (for 8 cores on a board), we might have a real competition again.
