So got my new rig setup, except for the eventual evercool wc 202 + modding etc

Right now I'm using the stock psu... but I guess I need to replace it. After getting everything together, first thing I did was go into the bios, to setup my preferences etc etc. for boot order etc. and the first thing I noticed in the h/w monitor was the 12v was fluctuating between 12.6 and 13.2! - the other rails seems a little off too, but weren't jumping as much.
After installing winxp sp2, drivers (downloaded newest nforce, 6.4 cats + ccc, realtek hd audio drivers, dx 9.0c) I started playing around with games etc. Amazing speed compared to my 2.8c +9800pro , but I had a couple hard resets, usually after gaming, or when I accessing my SATA driver I noticed... I'm going to attribute it to the PSU I guess. In cpu-z the cpu voltage was changing a lot from 1.3-1.4ish. In PcAlert (msi monitoring software) temps are all fine, but the 12v still 12.6-13.2 and the olther voltages... just don't seem stable. (nothing like my old mATX sparkle 220w)
Despite the psu, I decided to play with some o/c Just lock the mem to 166 and some lax timings, and just push the FSB up (board goes 200-250) went to 210 seemed fine, ran prime95 in two instances on seperate affinity for like 5min - and watched temps, never above 50c on the cpu (stock cooling for now) then went to 220 same results really, but once I went to 230 one of my prime instances started to fail (but never went above 51c). I'm guessing because there's not a solid voltage/current being supplied to the cpu.
I guess this whole long depiction is to get opinions... can all the problems be attributed to the PSU? I do plan on replacing it, but I was hoping for at least adequate results... guess I was hoping for too much, now I have to decide on a psu... I was looking at this OCZ ModStream 550w (http://www.newegg.com/product/product.asp?item=N82E16817104154) but I'm not sure if the clearence will be ok behind it... I've seen some tight squeezes with modular psus in the qpacks - would I just be better off with a good dual 12v non modular?
