Qpack owners: looking for advice

A 120mm fan just barley fits in that area width wise. That rad is 135mm wide so I don't think it will.

It is hard to find a 120mm rad that doesn't suck and will fit in that space. I've been through an entire heatercore catalog and all over google. Maybe I can find a motorcycle or ATV radiator. Any suggestions would be appreciated :D

edit: I've found some discrepancies on the width of this rad, frozencpu says 135, alphacool says 132. It looks like it is actually a little smaller than 132 in pics where it is next to a fan, like this one (note that the fan is leaning): http://www.alphacool.de/xt/images/product_images/popup_images/3688_0.jpg

Ya I know what you mean. Did the same research looking into a nice rad.

Me personally I didn't want to mod my qpack to fit a rad into it. MassiveOverkill did some nice modding to get his rads into the case. Problem is I want a nice performance out of my WCing. I didn't like the temps he was getting. I don''t know what hes getting now though.

Since I just want great performance I was going to mount the Thermochill to the outside back. I'm going to stick with Air cooling for now with this system.
I added a 120mm 114CFM Panaflo to the back. I have some modders mesh comming to substitute the side windows for, Artic NV silencer and a Zalman 7700.

I've been talking to some people and I think this rad my fit, albeit tightly. It would need to be mounted to a fan which was then mounted to the case (which is preferable anyway). I think if I had a 120mm in the back and a black ice micro in the front with my d5 it would be pretty killer.

How do you like the Panaflo compared to the stock fan? Was thinking of doing the same thing. Less noise, more airflow?

You're not going to get any 120mm radiator to fit in the stock fan location internally except for the Evercool WC-202 kit. I've researched this thoroughly.

What he said. No 120mm rad will fit other than the one tucking inside Evercool's kit. You have to void the warranty to get at it though. Check out my thread or Massive's in gallery for more info.

I took the photo from alphacool's website and used photoshop to measure the span of the mounting holes. Using the ratio of mount span to total width it seems that the nexxxos is somewhere in the ballpark of 121-122mm. Damn. I like the idea of using the evercool but I certainly don't like the performance :(

Unless my temperature sensor is off, my Evercool unit cooled just as good, if not better than my $300 Swiftech unit. The only problem is the GPU bracket won't fit the latest generation video cards.

I have to agree that no way are you going to get any Rad that is larger than a 120mm fan into the inside rear of the case without modding the case. The 120mm fan is already a tight fit on all 4 sides, so anything bigger than that will not fit. I was thinking of useing a 80mm Swiftec kit with a homemade 80-120mm adapter. Other than that the only way is to do some modding or use the Evercool kit.

I got an email back from alphacool. The true dimensions of the nexxxos pro 1 is 153mm X 121mm.

I don't mind doing some heavy duty modding. I really want to fit a 120mm in there and have it be self contained.
