this is my setup:

asus a8n-vm
6800U pcie (upgrade to xfx 7600gt pcie)
on board sound
(512x2) ram
hdtv tuner

how do i get xp-90 to work with this board.

which case should i get.

I second the microfly, it is a little deeper and that helps alot. Also the front intake fan is a plus. I own both so I know.

The Zalman you are looking at should fit just fine. Any HSF less than 2.75 inches in total height should fit fine.

I third the nomination. I've owned a QPack in the past, and currently own a Microfly. The only area the QPack beats the Microfly is in the top/side cover. The Qpack uses one piece of aluminum to cover the sides and top. This adds some structural rigidity. The Microfly uses three separate pieces of aluminum that don't fit tightly. I notched the rails where they attach, and used some single sides foam tape to fix this problem and my Microfly is just a strong as a QPack now. I also used some cardboard and heavy tape on the insides of the sides/back covers to insulate them a bit. I will probably end up replacing that with some type of foam or plastic. The Antec Aria is an excellent example of a case with high quality side panels. I'd kinda like to duplicate that.

You can also fit a full size power supply in the Microfly without having to use a short optical drive.

Microfly has better airflow due to a 80mm fan at front. I think it is best MATX case on the market.

IMO, Ultra/Chenming/Aspire/whoever needs to learn one thing from the Aria--Build quality. The Aria may have a weak PSU, and horrible temps, but it's a rock solid case in terms of structural rigidity.

I've help built both a QPack and a Microfly, I would say that QPack's build quality is slightly better than that of Microfly's.

High temperature will kill your CPU, motherboard, hard drive and video card. What is point to have a solid case when it destroy all the component inside.
