i also have a perfect qnix. enough with the trolling. what's funny is that you would've been right two or three years ago, but the problems qnix stock has are standard fare for all the big brands nowadays.

Now that is getting interesting xtrigx !
Problem is, misinformation is powerful, devastating, and hence: everywhere. For this reason, one can't just say "you were'nt warned" and expect us to instantly recognize you as a truth blower.. It just doesn't work that way and you know it...Unbacked conclusion has no excuses. You need to argues your say.. I know it might be a pain sometime, but this is exactly what those forums are all about.. And I personnally call it almost pure "pollution" advancing any such conclusion without any sign of relevent arguement..

Anyway,
- How close are you to this person ?
- Do you know if all those ~8-9 sellers owning the Korean monitor redistribution on ebay all from all the same crew ? (This could highly be the case..)
- I'm in contact with someone that own one of those "american"/korean remake Overlord Template x270OC monitor he wish to sell back from some reason, what do you think of that one ?
- And about the crossover I mentioned earlier ? your thought ?

Close enough that ill soon be investing a good chunk of my 401k with him to start purchasing tv panels and selling these ...

I bet u do...anyway, like i said, i try to post anywhere i see people considering those monitors...some people are fine with the defects for the cost savings...most arent...ive seen the panels for myself, dozens of post production from a manifest of several thousand...every single one i looked at was not these lucky "perfect" versions that our forum buddies here have "lucked" into

Fwiw, i knew very little about panel types up until a few days ago...honestly didnt even know what type of panel any of those korean off brands used...but ive seen qnix issues first hand...do with that what you will...

Sorry, didnt finish reading ur post...my guy buys with several other partners...but i couldnt speak to the specifics of how they work together. Im not familiar with any other of those manufacturers, but ive read a few reviews grouping them all in the same bucket, that they are all sub par quality in several categories...you take a risk when u buy these brands, and whether its worth the reward is how much you are prepared to put up with....everyone has a different budget, and different tastes...for me, id rather by a cheap tn panel samsung than spend a decent chunk of change on a qnix, regardless how good a deal it is compared to similar specs of other brands...i doesnt make sense to me to want a pls or whatever high quality panel with good resolution and all that, and have a monitor that leans to one side because the stand is garbage, or maybe theres 4-5 dead or lazy pixels, or the backlight bleed is noticeable...or any combination of all those thIngs...and god forbid u try to return it....enjoy that process...

No, if i want ips or something high end like that..ill spend the extra money, and not hafta worry...or, if i want to be on a specific budget that doesnt allow for a quality panel, then ill go with the biggest quality tn i can afford

Edit:
I didnt bother to ask what u were using it for, because i simply would never recommend them...but if ur trying to go over 1080p, and its for gaming, that 750 ti wont cut it on most games...even at reduced game settings...fwiw

Awesome.. I like, and now understand more your point.. maybe I almost endorse it too..
That's a lot of risk taking to say the least.. That's why I had the new Qnix 2414 in mind at first.. but being TN was a killing con to me..

I knew that 750 Ti would put me at risk getting bottlenecked on a 1440p, but I will most likely use this monitor for web surfing, searching, general browsing.... and at most maybe some gaming on any of those epic 2012 and earlier games... (I like good old stuff, and time being a bitch, I'd have hell of a hard time going through even half of top titles released in those earlier years ...)

right on...i still fire up some of those older titles myself from time to time

I just got the Crossover 2795 QHD.

Perfect screen, no dead pixels, backlight bleed is nearly nonexistent. On a fully black screen the lower left corner is a tiny bit brighter. Impossible to see on anything but a black screen.

Overclocks as stated to 96hz. I can also do 100hz. 110hz has occasional minor glitches.

Yes, it's ultra basic. It's not a "monitor" as we usually think of them. The casing is generic. Some of the buttons don't do anything. It has only one input (DVI).

What you get, hopefully, is one seriously nice panel and not much else. Which is great if you are a gamer since there's not much there to introduce input lag.

Perhaps I got lucky, but I'm super happy and simply stunned at the image quality, and the speed at 96hz. It has far less motion blur than I was expecting. CS:GO and Star Citizen are both very playable and pretty. Nothing is as fast as the XL2720Z with ULMB strobing that I just sold. But until prices come down and quality comes up on screens like the ACER XB270HU / XB271HU this is PLENTY to tide me over.

The way you have to look at it is this:
1) If the screen is really bad, you send it back. That's the real "lose" situation with the Korean imports.
2) If the screen has a dead pixel or two, or a couple of subpixels, that's life. It's still a good price for what you get, just not as good as getting a perfect one.
3) At $300, this isn't a massive risk. Even if you end up not liking it, you can sell off a less than perfect one for most of that... or give it to a family member who will think it's the best desktop screen they've ever seen, no matter what defects you consider unacceptable to yourself personally.

What you have to remember is the reason to do this. You are getting a very expensive panel for a severely cut rate.

Are you sure your not getting any frame skipping? My onix only does 86Hz before I start to get skipped frames, there is an easy test to check for skipping.

wonder why crosshairs deleted my post? less and less impressed...nothing i said was against forum rules...

probably because you were trying to tell people that know what they're talking about that they're lying about something that makes absolutely no sense to lie about. want me to take pictures of my oh so special qnix that i paid $50 extra for to avoid the issues you think affect literally every single one that exists? i think you should go and take a look at the multitude of threads regarding new monitor models from big brands having ridiculously high defect rates, significantly worse in scope than anything that ever happened with the korean imports, and then rethink your "i'm going to pay more so i don't have to worry" idea. people get fucked up $800 XB270HUs and PG278Qs all the time, i mean were you not paying attention when dell's first 4k monitor came out and some guy got like four of them in a row that had all kinds of shit wrong with them? how about these new ultrawides and the hilariously bad backlight bleed they have? there's no difference at all anymore, and it's an extremely tired, done to death argument that does nothing but show your ignorance.

Just checked my Crossover for frame skipping. Did it properly with 1/5 shutter. No skipping at all. Checked a half dozen pics.

19 grey boxes in a row at 96hz which is exactly correct. Comes out to 19.2 frames per 1/5th.

Your posts were deleted because they offered absolutely nothing of any value to this thread, and only served to derail the topic,in addition, they were rude and condescending.

In the future if your not happy with the moderation here, feel free to take it up with me via PM.

I also have been running a QNIX DP2710 for some time. It has some black light bleed in the top right corner, nothing overly obnoxious. No dead pixels and can overclock to 96hz easily. I am failing to understand how you do not see the value in these monitors. For the money ($320) you are getting a lot in terms of features. This monitor isn't for everyone because of the hassle of returns and the possibility of dead pixels, but from my own personal experience it would be hard to find another brand with the same features for the money at the time I purchased it over a year ago. You can pay a little extra ($20) to have the seller inspect the monitor for defects and from what I have seen on forums and from my experience the service is worth it. The case on the monitor seems fine to me, it may not have the thinnest bezel or be of the highest quality materials as other higher end monitors. The stand would be my biggest complaint, it is wobbly and not that adjustable but works ok. This could be easily remedied for a bit extra with a vesa mounting arm. I think you are correct it warning people of some of the issues with the quality, you can get a dud which others have reported. That is why I recommend throwing in the $20 bucks to have a "pixel perfect" version. The way you come off @xtrigx is just rude and I don't get why someone would get so wound up over a fucking monitor. Anyways, GL OP, I hope you find something that works for you.

QX2710 is $200 today w/ free shipping on Ebay.....

Pretty much a no brainer @ that price. Mine overclocked to 96hz without skipping frames (110hz max).
