Q9770, what board?

I just got a Q9770. I was running a e6850 in my BFG 680i, but it seems like the 9770 will arguably not run in the 680i. What boards should I look at for this chip? I don't need crossfire/sli, pcie2, etc but I would like a decent amount of sata ports if I can, and I want DDR2 memory.

Ideas?
 
you can go with the Maximus formula, that board will support it, but since that's a 1600fsb chip any x48 board is the way you want to go.
 
Most X38 boards claim support for 1600MHz FSB (my P5E - the Maximus Formula's neglected little sibling - does), but a X48 board would have Intel's guarantee yes.
 
I work at intel and have been told that x38 will support the chip just as well as x48, just less officially...
 
Yeah, I think the general opinion is that X48 is just an X38 that Intel guarantees runs at 1600MHz FSB, which isn't to mean that pretty much any X38 won't run at 1600MHz FSB as well.
 
I assume the 9770 came directly from Intel? I have been waiting for this processor. Any real idea when this will be released to the public?
