Is this CPU no longer available and if not is there a reason?!

I'm shopping for parts to build a PC for a friend and was hoping to get the Q9450 but i can't find it anywhere in Australia!:confused:
 
ebay or whatever you can find down under. The Q9550 is now in its place as the bottom 12mb model that's widely available in stock
 
it got "replaced" by the Q9400, and at its old price point is the Q9550 now.

The Q9550 is REALLY expensive here because of the economy.
