q9450 OC questions

Hi,

I'm new to the forums, a friend suggested I come to you guys for my problems. So, I'm running :

q9450 @ 3.2 on 1.2V w/ Arctic Freezer Pro 7 which runs around 40 at idle and 48 when loaded
2X2gig OCZ Reaper at 10666 @ 2.1 V
Asus P5Q Pro
Windows Vista Ultimate ( 32 bit version )
So here are my questions, currently, my computer is at a 3:4 divider ( is that the right terminology? ) Is it better to have it running at 1:1, meaning the ram would run at 800 instead of 10666 ? Also, I ran it for 16 hours with Prime95 and 3 hours on Memtest 86 without any issues but I have problems running 5 iterations at max on IBT. Should I be worried? I can run 5 iterations at 1/2 without issues. I'm not the greatest at O/C, in fact this is my first time around. I pretty much left everything on Auto except FSB and the voltage to the CPU and Ram. I also turned off the function that turns the multiplier back to 6 when the load is low.

Oh yeah, one last thing, after fiddling with the computer, i set everything back to normal ( at least I think i did ) and ran IBT and it tanked. That doesn't seem too great. Should I just be happy it's good right now and not worry about the IBT failures or should I work at getting it insanely stable?

Anyways, any help would be great, I hear no one knows stuff like you guys.

dont worry about the ibt failures. running ram at faster than fsb speeds gives little benefit. run it at 1/1 and try ibt at full. also dont be afraid to give pll, fsb term, and chipset a little juice if you want to go for a higher oc, and why wouldnt you?

i'm pretty sure that you need a 64 bit os to run ibt at max. it will run at 1/2, though, with a 32 bit os, which is why you pass at that setting.

hmm, i thought I read that IBT will automatically adjust if you have a 32 bit OS. must have read wrong.thanks
