Q6600 overclock update

Before the [H] crash last weekend ,I asked for a few basic overclocking tips for my Q6600 and evga 6801A1.I never got to install that cpu because I swapped it and an 8800gtx for a brand new in the box qx6700.I finished that build yesterday.I first removed all factory cooling devices on the motherboard as per everyones' suggestion and cleaned and reapplied shin-etsu x23.Mcp temp stays at 39 degrees even after running prime 95 for 20 minutes.Cpu is clocked at 2.93 mhtz by increasing mutiplier by 1.I will try for a little higher clock later when I am a little more comfortable doing it.Cpu idles at 49 degrees and all four cores range between 71 and 79 degrees during prime 95.Voltage is at 1.31 for the cpu.All temps are from everest ultimate.More to come.
