Hey all decided to provide some extra PPD for the [H]orde and dropped a GT430 into a spare box which has a Q6600. Is it a good idea to run both the GPU2 client as well as the SMP client on this box or am I hampering potential PPD?

Since the GT430 is fermi based, you'll need to run the new GPU3 client. You should be ok but you will notice certain GPU3 units will use more CPU cycles than other units but it shouldn't be too bad.

Overall, you should see more PPD from running both clients compared to just SMP or just GPU3. It's worth it.

Just make sure you turn the Q6600 up as far as it will go, that will give you more bonus points on the SMP work units.

ok sounds good, not sure how well this 6600 will OC but I'll continue to run both clients, hoping to see some half decent PPD from this boxen.
