If you want a Q6600 G0 stepping, AllStarShop have some in stock. I asked Wayne to check and it is an SLACR. He says they have a few in stock. I already order one for pick up. It is $299.99 with free shipping.

i just called them up and its pretty much the same deal with ordering from NCIX...no guarantee blah blah blah.

now if you had a shipping invoice with SLACR at the end of it, that id like to see

EDIT: i just noticed you're picking it up...thats a whole different story as i live on the east coast :p

Actually I am going to pick it up in a few minutes...:p

I just ordered one I spoke to Wayne and he said he would do his best if I requested the stepping in the notes and used his name.

I am having it overnighted to Ct so i will post pics tomorrow if its the real deal.

PS:, I know squat about steppings except that I read that I will want the G0 the stepping you posted is the correct one for me to request correct or I will hunt you down OP lol

I got the last one, I spoke to them just a moment ago. I got it for $330 overnighted

WOOT , thats a good sign. I have not gotten my tracking numbers yet but I was assured over the phone that mine was picked:D

ncix usa sold out their last b3 last week. they only have g0, and will not likely be getting any older steppings again. also, on your order form, it will specify which stepping it is, and if not the one you want, you can always cancel your order.

both ncix and ncix-usa ship from the same warehouse(s), so it doesnt boil down to that. there are people that have ordered at different times all this week and most have received the G0, but there are still a good number that are receiving the B3

and it's on your shipping invoice where you're able to see what stepping you received (SL9UM = B3/SLACR = G0). and i believe if you cancel your order then you have to pay the shipping back fee (and possibly a restocking fee)

Oh yeh got my tracking , hope its the G0
I will know by 3 tomorrow

LOL I bet this Wayne guy is like "WTF why are all these people calling me?!"

Yes!!!! I just got mine and its a G0. Pics tonight because i left my camera home this morning

Now I just have to decide on a cooling solution. I guess the Thermalrigtht Extreme? is the best choice?

Congrats!!! Keep us updated with your oc.
Mine posted from 1300 fsb to 1800 fsb (4.05ghz @ 1.525v) on the NF68-AR board, as soon as Windows starts loading, BSOD immediately. There's seems to be a wall at 450 fsb. It doesn't post at all beyond 450fsb. My NF68-A1 board is on the way to my house. Hopefully, I will get better results with it.
I was surprised how low the temp is for a quad-core. At default, it ldles at 33°c-34°c and load at about 42°c - 43°. Room temp was about 25°c. I was using the new version of Prime95 that uses all 4 cores.

Yes, I must admit I was on the fence about getting one until I saw the temps and oc's that another member was getting . Once i saw what G0 could do I began my hunt. I gut real lucky because the thread just posted and I pulled the trigger. I only wish I had ordered the. cooler yesterday as well. I just could not make up my mind. I guess I wont be doing any oc until next week. I almost cannot resist popping her in with the stock cooler and just might until i get the Thermalright.
