Q6600 - Benchmark?

I've just built a rig with a Q6600, a BFG 9500GT and 4 Gig of Geil Black Dragon on on asus P5Q running XP, I am getting the following 3Dmark06 results

SM2.0 - 1562
HDR/SM 3.0 1399
CPU - 3845


Seems mighty low...any ideas?
 
You OC'ing that Q6600? Jack it up to 3.0 and see how that fares.

My sig rig gets around 13,000 total score in 3Dmark06. Into the 14k range when OC'd more.
 
My Q6600 at 3.2 was getting 5100 CPU score.
C2D's really start to shine when you pass the 3 ghz mark, so give it a try and see if you get better results.

Only if you feel comfortable OC'ing, of course...
The scores for the 9500GT look about right, though.
 
Video card imo, my Q9550 @ 4.0ghz is almost scoring 5800 alone. Pick up a 4850 and your set.
