Q6600 - Are These Temps High?

Speedfan and Core Temp are reporting different temps...How are my temps? Is there a better program out there to measure temps? Temps were taken with computer at idle...Also have Ultra 120 Extreme...

What excatly are you complaining about? 40/40/39/39 is perfectly OK. With SpeedFAN, IIRC, you have to either manually add 15*C in your head, or write it in to the app to correct for that. There's a place where you can put that adjustment in, I just forget where (and at work, so I can't find it).

What excatly are you complaining about? 40/40/39/39 is perfectly OK. With SpeedFAN, IIRC, you have to either manually add 15*C in your head, or write it in to the app to correct for that. There's a place where you can put that adjustment in, I just forget where (and at work, so I can't find it).

Found it:
Click "Configure", click "advanced" tab, select your chip (mine reads INTEL CORE at $0 on ISA). Change the value of each "temperature offset" to "15". Click OK.
