We just got a pre-release model (under NDA so I can't get specific) with the Q43/45 chipset, I really cant find any decent info on this, how different is it from P/G43/45's?

From what I've observed, the Q*5 series boards are for OEM distribution, specifically for mass production business machines. They tend to have more in the way of legacy ports (like parallel and serial), cheap onboard video, and sometimes hardware data encryption built-in. I think the biggest difference between the Q and the G and P models is that Q-series boards cannot be overclocked at all (meaning, all options for voltages and multipliers are locked out). Since these are meant for business machines, overclocking isn't necessary.

Your observations are correct.;)

Unfortunately is has some pre-release reference driver for the video, so I couldn't do any 3D testing. I'm going to see if I can find a Blu-ray drive and see how it does on HD and such.

I was surprised that it was loaded up with display ports, even the add-in ATI was Display port only.
