I usually don't have problems with decisions like these and it's kind of a goofy question but here goes:
Looking at maybe buying one of the Aspire X-qpack cases, but not sure which one to go with. I thought they all came pre-windowed on 3 sides, but I notice they have one without any windows.
I like both but I really don't want the window on top, seems like it would be sturdier without it, and I'll probably set stuff on top and scratch the plexi up anyways.
What would you guys do? Is it worth buying the no-window model and just cutting what I want, or just save the effort and get the 3 window. I also just thought about buying a cheap tool carrying attache' case (about $20) and just mounting the micro-atx goods in there. Would love to hear input on that as well, and if you have a better suggestion than either feel free to share.
 I'm so conflicted. :)

No Window

Triple Window

Windows get old. They are awesome for the first 15 minutes you have it, but they will just get scratched. I would get the windowless.

You're in a case modding forum, and have to ask if you should mod your own windows or not??? ;)

The sides of the windowed case are aluminum, and I would assume the one without windows is the same, so it would be easy to cut. Go search out somewhere where you could get custom etched windows done, and cut one or two out on the sides to put some in. You'll be happier in the long run. :)

The only reason I went with the windowed case was cuz Xoxide did their sunday x-hour special, and made me an offer I couldn't refuse.

Thanks for the input m8's, yeah I shouldn't have asked about cutting windows in a modding forum.
