OK, so for my Linksys router, I've forwarded port 5061.....but I'm not sure in the router setup which "IP Address" to forward it to....It has 192.168.1.____ and I have to put in some # for the last octet....what do I put in?

That is the IP address of the machine you are forwarding the port to, what computer (or phone device) is looking to receive a message on port 5061.

which would most likely be the PC that you are on currently, to find out your IP addy

start>run>cmd>ipconfiga

THe PC I'm on is a laptop....which is gone most of the day. Should I forward it to the IP of the laptop that is permanently wired connected to the router?

Easiest way to do this, is to set a static ip on the machine you want the port forwarded to, and set that ip on the router.
