Why do they make 20 inch Flat and 20.1 Flats. I really dont understand the difference.
Another Q, do you want the contrast ratio to have a small or big number.

for example:

400:1 v. 800:1

400:1 v. 1200:1

ect ect...
 
The difference between a 20" and a 20.1" is .1" Different companies make the panels and they make them with different manufacturing processes and they choose the one that works best for them.

Higher contrast ratios are better but it's not the only thing that decides whether a panel is good or bad.
