Hallo,

I can't get PXE Boot working on my MSI 890FXA-GD70 board.
I have the latest BIOS installed (1.15) and tried every combination (LAN1/2 on/off; Option ROM on/off, other device boot yes / no).

When I hit F11 to enter the boot menu I only get my 2 HDDs and the DVD as booting options.
Anyone with this board got it to work?

Someone would ask this the week after I upgrade my motherboard....

I was using the 890FXA-GD65 (Almost the same, minus a few interfaces), but I never thought to look for a PXE Boot option. If I had to guess, it would have to be enabled as a boot menu option, and would have to be added to the boot list as well. If I had time I'd drop this board in another machine and take a look, but unfortunately my weekend is booked. I hope someone here has a better answer for you.

Derfahnder, if you still need help with the PXE boot I have an 890FXA-GD70 I can check.

I have found that when doing PXE boot, you'll need to have the first NIC connected (second NIC won't boot) and you will probably have to enable PXE under the NIC setting in the BIOS. Once it's enabled, you should have it as a boot option when changing the BIOS or pressing F11 during POST.
