PX2370 Bleeding Light Like Crazy

I have returned 3 of these things (meaning I am on my 4th) and they all bleed light like crazy. Samsung assures me this isn't normal, but clearly it is common.


I love the monitor otherwise, great picture quality for a TN and great response time (even for a TN). I just wish it was put together right.


Any suggestions? Should I just keep returning it until I get a good one? I don't want to piss off Best Buy.

Turn brightness down to 40-50, that should give you around the industry standard brightness (100-120cmd/2) for dark environments where bleed is most noticeable.

Using the monitor with default settings (100% brightness) is simply for in store displays, and not for real world situations. I assume you are using it in a dark environment and watching widescreen movies, hence noticing the bleed. Once turned down it should cut down the bleed down quite a bit, still there will probably be a bit in the corners.
