Ok I traded a friend some things for a tv tuner card and now I want to recod tv and burn it dvd. I remeber in a old computer mag about a year ago I saw they had the software rated and the one that got top ranks I think was free, I can't remeber the name of it. Can Anyone help me out or give me any suggestions? I would like to load media center on to a machine and run it that way, Ill take ideas for that setup too

The first is free, the second is like £30 (GBP) but apparently well worth it! Showshifter comes with a 30 day free trial too.
 
I tried the free one and it isn't working for me

I have a gf 2 gts and the only thing it sees as an input device is my web cam :(. I really need to figure this out...
