Just wondering as I've got 8 additional PC's to roll out. I've been using the graphical client, and its in my image. Will it mess up Stanford when all 8 of them submit the same completed workunit?

Any ideas about what I *should* be doing?

It's okay to have the .exe in the image... but you need to install it fresh on each and every machine........

there are domain installers though.... but I've never used them....
I'd use the console client, and monitor all those PCs with EMIII or one of the other monitors in the sticky

Or, use mage's Fold server.... set it up on one and all the other's will use the server....

Keep on Folding!! For the [H]orde!!

I setup one box they way I want it, using console version. Then I delete the user ID reg key, and edit the service start key for what settings I want.

Then I move the console program and config file out of the folding directory, deleting the rest.

Sysprep the box.

Once the boxen come out of sysprep, move the console program and config file into the orginal directory, reboot and done.

With graphical client, no clue. All your boxen will have same user ID, so at least you cpu count @ stanford will be messed up (low).
