is there any possible way that i can put one of my videos in windows media player onto a cd and watch it in a regular dvd player?

It's easy to put a video on a cd.

Easiest solution is just convert it to VCD/SVCD and burn it. Most decent DVD players should be able to read it.

see i am not familiar at ALL with all those VCD and SCVD things. i have no clue what they mean. so if you could help me along with what they mean that would be great.
