Getting a new Rack cabinet installed, and my tiny server room is begging for space. I need to remove the 2 post rack so the 4 post cabinet can be installed. Will tipping the rack mounted UPS on its side for a few days cause any issues like battery leakage?

Thanks

It shouldn't cause any issues. Check with the manufacturer's website... and if you still don't know, ask them.

It should not cause any issue at all (I have one running right now on its side and its been that way for months lol) Now you SHOULD look up your UPS on google and check out the manufactures recommendation's and check to see what kind of batteries it has in it. Most have the standard sealed batteries so it shouldn't be an issue.
