if you need more info let me know and ill try to get it

You want to install windows with out a cd meaning you have no cd drive? I'm going to assume yes, your best bet is to get a copy of the installation on a usb thumbdrive or external harddrive and try and boot off of it, i'm pretty sure it will boot and start windows install, you need the hidden files and stuff also.

Otherwise booting off of a network, have fun and good luck with that, if anyone has a good internet article on this i'd be interested in it.

Without a cd drive you're pretty limited but someone else might know more. If you do have a cd drive and no install cd, but a valid product key just download it off of a torrent site. If you don't have a valid key then not a recommended idea, but download it off a filesharing network.

Or if you have a valid install on a different harddrive use norton ghost to image it over clone i believe norton call it or Ultimiate boot cd 4 windows should have an app in there that does the same thing for free.

i have a cd/dvd drive but no cd. im going to try norton or ultimate boot cd

will edit with results

I bought a SATA DVD drive from newegg for $40 bucks ahead of time, and it saved me alot of hastle. But, I'm sure you can get xp installed via a few other methods.
