Currenly I have my AXPM 2600+ at 2532MHz and I pushed it to 2637.5 (211x12.5) and it went to windows but gave a rounding error in prime95 so I think this will run ok with a bit more voltage but I'm concerned if it's safe to go up more than 1.9v and run at 2.6GHz? Anybody on Air running at 2.6GHz and stable? No reboot, no corruption, no sudden death, etc. happened?

What's the highest voltage ideal for AXP-M where it won't kill the CPU within 3 yrs time?

Currently I have it at 1.9v (1.84-1.86 actual)
NF7-S rev2
1Gig OCZ Dual Channel
Thermaltake extreme volcano 12 (lapped)

temp in full load 58C in hot room with space heater on (was torture testing it)
temp idle 45-47C

How long will the chip live running at 1.9v? Is going > 1.9 not advisable? What's the safest range of temp for the AXP-M? I'm willinjg to run this puppy to 2.6Ghz but if my chip might die in a year I'd lower my OC to around 2.4Ghz

well i think a processor will last longer than 6 months at 2.15v so at 1.95 or 2v you should be okay for at least a year or two.

I wouldn't exactly call it "safe" but a 2600 isn't exactly a 700$ proc either so you can be a little adventureous. It should last for a while yet, but when it cooks it should be time for an upgrade anyway.

I'd probably need this machine for 1.5-2.5 years...just in time for 64bit os and 64bit cpus and dual cores to mature..... I don't upgrade yearly, I usually build every couple of years... :)

Try to unlock the multiplier to see if you can get 200X13. Thats the only way I could get 2.6ghz on my 2600XP-M, 208X12.5 would not be stable at 1.85v but at 200X13 2.6 was perfectly stable <and still stable> also the Mobo I have down below in my sig has all the multipliers unlocked <13+> and i think it goes for $79 at newegg..

hahahah dashit u see funnies with anti NFO

Anyways i too have a 2600+ M but im running the CPU at stock voltages on my NF7-S r2.0 and im at 200x 11.5 i think just for 2.3ghz and its running at 43C max temp.

Ram is in in sig at 2-3-3-11 and @ 2.8 volt

My AXP-M is unlocked, it can do 2637.5 (211x12.5) but would need more voltage. I'm trying to decide if I should be bumping the voltage to > 1.9...would it kill my CPU in a years time, I'd like to know if it will live for around 2 years (before my next build) at that voltage and speed, if not I'll lower my overclock. Anybody with 2.6Ghz AXP Mobile running for 2 yrs. straight with no hiccups on AIR COOLING?

Specs:
AXP-Mobile 2600+@2532Mhz 1.9V(1.84-1.86 actual, NF7 undervolts)
NF7-S rev2
1Gig OCZ 3200 Dual Channel ram
Thermaltake extreme volcano 12 (lapped)
HDD/5 case fans/fan controller/DVDRW/zip
temp in full load with prime95 running for 24 hrs. 58C in hot room with space heater on (was torture testing it)
temp idle 45-47C
