I have a big water water cooling setup and i was wondering if i should have the fan blowing thru the radiator or pulling air thru thru the radiator the current setup is the fan is blwoing thru the radiator.... which is in this picture.....

reason i ask about this is because im goin to mod a fan into the side panel if i pull air thru the radiator because then i have clearance for it

i dont mean to move this up again but i need to kno cause i need to switch it soon so i can have work done in time for a lanparty i will be attending

i know that its a very disputed subject i just want to double check and make sure that it would be better to pull then to push

PULL...you will get better airflow over the radiator and it will exhaust the hot air OUT of your system.

i was thinkin i was goin to put the radiator on the top of the top panel and the have the fan pull air thru it but what do u think i should do?

I don't think it's disputed at all. Everyone will tell you to pull air through a rad...

so would i tbe better to pull cool air from outside thru the radiator instead of pulling the hot air from the inside of the case thru the radiator?

just curious to why would u do that? casue then ud make hot air go thru the radiator which wouldnt cool the water as good

true but you will have less air moving pass the rad due to the air "bouncing" off the radiator then you will have really hot air trapped in the case wich is never good

i think i have sufficeint airflow in the case but i really dont want to have the air blowing out the top of the case inless i have to have it that way so u saying i should leave the setup i got but just flip the fan and have it blow out the top and suck the air from the inside of the case thru the radiator?

pull the air out of the case, coz if it blows throught the rad the way it is then your air temps in your case will go up really high

ok, i've done it both ways, and the things you have to remember is
1) the air coming out of your rad isn't much hotter than the surrounding air.
2) pulling air through makes for a more efficient and lower noise fan setup
3) if you hve adequate case ventalation other than the radiator, it dont matter wether you blow the "hot" air into or out of the case.

So, whatever you do, set it up so your tubing runs with the least bends and the shortest lengths of hose.

thank you thats what i was trying to say

thanks i really appreciate all the help from everyone i currently have the fan pulling air thru the radiator and blowing air outside the case and it works great
