I just cut the grill out.. installed two X-Blasters (80x90x25mm, 4000 rpm, 52.80 CFM) fans in a push n pull configuration. I was surprised to find that the old fan which came with the XPC has 25mm depth not the 15mm as I read on some of the forums.. and that means the fan fits perfectly. I already have the mesh grill cover from Shuttle. I just cranked it for an hour at full speed.. and CPU temperature registered at 35c (34c-36c) :cool: This mod will come to a huge benefit when dropping in a decent video card.
 
Many people have adapted 120mm fans on their shuttles and gotten very good tempatures at very low noises. People have also reversed the fans and gotten much better tempatures that way as well.
