niiice! Is that a powdercoat?

Nope spray paint.

No sanding on the case, just nice smooth coats.

I had to sand the DVD and card reader between coats b/c the plastic started with an orange peel finish. So to make it match it took a little longer.

Its Duplicolor Mirage paint, (walmart) it comes as a 3 can process, though since everything was black to start with, I skipped the black primer (1st step). This also allows you to still be able to read all of the text on the case, DVD and card reader. B/c the (2nd step) glitter flake is pretty much clear.
Cleat coat (3rd step) is last.

When sanding the drives, how did you keep the text on the front of the drives intact? You got me really interested now, and I may just do it this summer when the weather clears up to my scratched up case :p

Put several coats of the glitter flake paint, then sand a LITTLE, paint another coat, sand a little, paint, sand, paint, sand, clear coat, sand, clear coat, clear coat.

(the glitter flake paint is clear with transparent flakes that prism the light at diff angles, so you can still read the text through it, just be sure to put several coats on 1st so you won't be sanding the text)

Thats what I did for the drives, b/c the plastic started with an orange peel texture.

For the case, it was just paint, dry, paint, dry, paint, dry clear coat, dry, clear coat. B/c it was already perfectly smooth, and I laid the coats on nice & smooth.

Very Nice case overall, but That intake side hole is freaking sweet !!

Any before and after temps?
