Purple/blue coolant.

Hey guys,

I have been searching for a long time now to find a perfect coolant color. I am looking for a dark blueish purple. However I can't trust the bottle colors on sites because generally it comes out being completely different..

This is an example of the color I am trying to achieve. Anyone have any suggestions. Or anyone know where I can get my hands on some Voodoo coolant ..

Although some may cringe at this... I'd use some food colouring .

My loop used yellow food colouring and white UV dye to create a true yellow colour once... Nothing was ruined. The tubing was stained, however.

There has to be a purple antifreeze somewhere! Isn't there a variation of Pentosin that is purple? Perhaps you could mix some red and blue.

Yes there is, PrimoChill sells their coolant color free and comes with color bombs so the user can choose whatever color he desires including mixing color bombs.

either my eyes are playing tricks, or the picture is showing purple EL wrapped around the tubing, not purple coolant.

VW's G12 Plus coolant is a lightish purple =). Make sure you get the + kind. Regular G12 is pink.
