purchasing mid range card for sub $200

Looking to upgrade video card and thinking about evga 260 or 9800 gtx. any suggestions?

260s have fallen in price. i would look at the egg. brand i like is evga. others im sure will have other suggestions.

My personal opinion... the 4830 around 100 bucks...
or the 4870 (512 meg) for about $155 after rebate...
At $200 that EVGA gtx 260 is great (knothead34's suggestion)
And if you want to pony up a little more... my favorite at 255 (235 AR) + free game (which is the card I presently own)

Look around for a little while. I got a Core 216 GTX260 for 200 dollars the other day and the performance blows me away. Maxed out Far Cry 2 and it doesn't really go under 40fps.

The GTX260s are really coming down in price. Kinda maks me want to grab another one for SLI.
