Just wondering, I went and bought the C-systems 750 mark II pump, and it's running fine, one thing I wonder though is right now when it's leak testing, I can hear the motor noise change. This change happens every 5-15 seconds, and occurs for about a second, and it sounds like the load of the motor is higher, as in the motor sounds more burdened during that second. Is this normal? If not, what's going on?

Pump's getting different loads?!

Sounds like there is still a little air in your system. Whenever I fill my system, it takes some time for all the air to be circulated out. Usually, a little pocket of air will get stuck in my rad and I have to tilt and or shake my case till the air is "jostled" into circulating through my loop and out my T-line.
Try shaking and tilting your rad, not violently mind you, just enough to get the air moving. After a few minutes, the air should be worked out.
If your pump continues to make noise after a few hours or so, it could be other problems.

Shaking... shaking.. and it seems to have worked!
I didn't shake it per say.. just kind of tilted my case to get all the air flowing around. It seems to have worked though. Thanks!plywood99 said:Your Welcome..

Not a very good one.. haha.... I took the Kingwin AWC-1 (AKA Evercool WC-201), removed the resovoir and pump (because it developed a leak). Used their CPU and GPU bloocks to cool the CPU and the Motherboard Chipset. Then I bought myself a C-Systems 750 Mark II Pump and a Switftech Bay Resovoir. So far with the AWC-1 I was able to get my system another 100mhz (so running 2.4ghz @ 1.7) which wasn't achievable with my SLK-800, so so far it's pretty good. I hope though with the new pump, the temps would lower a few degrees (since the waters moving around faster).
I find the loads are still changing once in a while.. I'm thinking maybe because I put the antifreeze in and the viscosity is different and that since the antifreeze has yet to mix in 100%, it's still getting blobs where it's thicker, so the pump is getting more load? Any logic to that?

why are you leak testing in your case? or had you taken all of your components out first?

I have an antec SX 1200, so that's a full tower case with a nice cross brace right across the middle. If I don't leak test it in the case, there's no way for me to put it in later without disconnecting the water pipes. I took most of the stuff out (left the motherboard though), but made sure to unplug everything.
