what pump would you recommend for a DangerDen RBX water block?

I'm thinking a Danner Mag3

That would work. Most any high head, high flow pump will work very will with the RBX.

For best results, us the #5 nozzle if you dont mind changing out nozzles.

what about noise level on the mag3? Is the ehiem 1250 quieter? I want the quietest one and the best performance.

I have a 1250...it's not bad, but you NEED to have some kind of vibration dampening...the 1250 is quiet in operation, so long as the object it's mounted to is heavy enough to deal with the vibration.

There is a kit (i think highspeedpc sells it), that allows you to use a 1250 in near silence. It's basically a set of rubber standoffs with bolts on each end...and works great.

I use those "silentblocs" too and it made my 1250 completely silent.

CD :)

there is actually a slight amount of noise...doubt anyone will notice it though since you have to have your head practically up next tot eh pump to hear it :)

You gotta remember...quiet to me is too loud...I AM the picky butt that goes through heatsinks and W/C layouts faster than a squirrel on meth gathers nuts.
