So I flushed my system out yesterday and I'm setting it back up today and the top pump thread/port keeps leaking from the tube. I've tried moving the clamp on it around seeing if it was not on correctly and right now what I did was push the tube all the way down so that it covers all of the port, before I stopped at the screw near the ridge around the bottom of it, so am I supposed to push the tube all the way down like that, totally past the screw/ridge thread section of the port? Please help since this could of cause my last problem with after a few months liquid was seeping out.

Thanks.

Uhhh....what pump, reservoir, setup, pics? I have been trying out my mindreading, but it's not working today. ;)

Don't have any and wouldn't know what that is :|, do you mean teflon? Also I don't think that would help as its not the part going into the pump, its the port sticking out that you connect to the tube

as far as leaking go I believe I've stopped it since I pushed the line all the way down the port past the threaded section, and it doesnt seem to be leaking anymore, but is that how it should be? just want to make sure

why? its leaking from where it connects to the tubing, not leaking from the pump

my question is am I supposed to push the tube all the way down on the port to have a secure connection?

It's leaking between the tubing and the fitting? hose clamp?

Yeah it was but I didnt have the tube all the way down across the threaded section of the port, but the clamps were on good and I even replaced it and it still would leak, but not that i pushed it all the way down no leaks :)
