I will be upgrading my existing 1/2" ID system. I will be cooling a new A64, X800, NB on the same loop. I already have a Thermochill HE120.3 radiator, so cooling the water will not be a problem. What I need is a solid pump. The enclosure is going to be relatively large, and with having 3 blocks and that monster radiator... the pump will need to be pretty beefy. I have an Eheim 1250, but I'm guessing it will not have enough head to give me maximum performance from this new system. (maybe?) The blocks will most likely be DangerDen stuff. Would like a Storm G4, but I don't like waiting for shit.

What pump would you choose? Why? and Where can you purchase them?

First off, you will get better performance ditching the NB block and getting a zalman heatsink for it. A64 chipsets do not even need active air cooling, they simply dont get hot due to the lack of a memory controller.

I think that the 1250 should actually be ok for your loop, the head pressure isn't the greatest, but it shouldn't be too bad either.

Other choices are something like the AQX-50Z or on the really high end an Iwaki :)

damn man i have similar crap but only using a 1048 pump with no problems.

setup

thing is i run my fans @ 5v so i know i could get better performance with 12v, i just do 5v for noise control. your 1250 should be plenty and like the man said, wc on an a64 nb is just not needed.
