Are any of the common pumps better suited then the others if I were using a fluid a little more viscus then water?

Unless you're going to be pumping a heavy glycol mix, the "standard" Laing pumps are more than adequate. D5 (MCP655) is still a great pump, but the DDC3.25's (PMP-400) have the edge when it comes to dynamic pressure.
