Pump problem

As instructed, I upgraded to the new OS and Firmware. Many thanks to Shoggy for the great instructions and thanks to Top Nurse for her patience.
It's all upgraded any the pump still registers as not there. The voltage is still registering 12.6-12.7 so it is still too high and the red led is constantly on. Based upon TN's observations, it would appear my AS controller is kaput.
Any and all suggestions will be greatly appreciated as tomorrow is Thursday and I need to order what I need tomorrow in order to have it for the weekend. Please speak up!

I really like the AquaStream pump and the integration it has with the Aquaero. This is my fifth pump and would recommend it to anyone running a small tube loop. My suggestion is to get a replacement and let it rip!

If anything I want a second one to replace my Timmer pump, which has about the same flow as your damaged pump.

Well do you think the Timmer would be good for my Koolance HD coolers?

Do you want the good news or the bad news first?

Bad news is that Wes ordered in version 3 pump controller replacements for problems just like this. The really bad news is that they didn't send version 3 controllers, but accidentally shipped him older style 1.7 controllers. :( However, the good news is that I think these controllers should work to get you by till the next shipment comes in with the correct version 3 controllers.

Really good news now! Just found my PCP&C Turbo 510 SLI manual :D

Ready?

Okay when you are looking at the top cover plate that has 5 screws you see the Turbo Cool 510 manufacturer's sticker. Orient the sticker so you can see the lettering being correct for reading. There are two holes right above the "O" and the "L" in the word "COOL." The left hole is the adjustment for your +3.3v line and the one to the right of it is the +12v line. The +5v line is adjustable on the side and there are only three holes in the PSU so you cant be in the wrong place. I hope I don't have to tell you to use a plastic wand or screwdriver seeing how you are in the power biz.

I would see if the PSU power can be adjusted to get rid of the problem before calling Wes for another controller.

Next thing is to check the pump contacts going to the Aquaero, try cleaning them with a standard eraser. Sometimes contacts form an oxide on them that electricity won't conduct well through.

If all else fails call me back at the phone number I gave you. :)

I dont think that is the problem. I hooked up my system to a different, smaller PSU and recieved the same results. Therefor, I am thinking it is the controller.

Call Wes and get one of those older style controllers he has in stock. :D

A final note to close this out. The new controller along with Aquasuite works flawlessly. I reseated my Twinplex NB, flushed my system and carefully tightened all the blocks one last time. Needless to say my temps dropped again! The NB temp is 27.6 and has not hit 30. Water temps sensors are 25.4 and 25.7, GPU is 33 and CPU is 25. These are all idle temps, but I am very happy! :D
