Pump, need a "Reboot" once in a while.

So I was trying to play Dungeon Keeper 2 tonight, but my computer rebooted...

So I'm thinking what the hell!?!?

Take off my overclocks, play again, reboot... WHY!?!?!

Then I realize my pump is making a louder than usual noise...

Checked Everest... Holy shit! 45c idle at 2ghz?

So I then see my water level looks high in my T-Line...

Unplugged the pump, it didn't raise like it does when I turn the system off.

Plug the pump back in, hey water level went down again... and temps are dropping...


So my question is... is my pump dying?

Or is it just because my room is faily warm compared to everywhere else in this house....

I'm in the room above my kitchen, and it gets mighty warm in the summer when mom cooks something in the oven... floor is even warm.

Might as well buy a new pump after I sell my Diablo II items... I bought this one used from a guy you might know, check my signature.
 
Is it possible that there's some type of obstruction somewhere in your loop? If you're going to take it apart to swap the pump out, it might be worth checking all the blocks to make sure they're ok.
 
clean out your loop make sure nothing is obstructing it and clean it. That is what I had to do, haven't had a problem since (it did it once, but hasn't done it again).
 
I cleaned out the rad and blocks before I built it, it's pretty damned clean, and the pump is running fine now.

But I will clean it again if I end up getting a new pump, I'm a pretty big risk taker with my hardware, might even volt mod my video card for that extra boost.
 
It has just stopped again, unplugged the pump, let it stop, plug it back in, works fine again...
 
Dude, seriously, lol, get a new pump!!! It's not worth it. a 100$ pump vs. like, 2000$ in hardware!
 
there may be some kind of build-up that's accumulated in your pump. If you can, take a look internally in the pump to see if anything is clogging or collecting in there.
 
Is it stopping in the middle of running? Or is it just not starting when you power on the machine?
 
It was just quitting after a while of being powered on.

I actually went ahead and opened it up myself last night, it was filled with gunk, cleaned it out, but I'm not sure if I want to use it.

It was getting to the point that it wouldn't run at all last night.

And I don't have $100 for a pump.
