Pump is loud, how do i quiet?

My swiftech pump is the loudest thing in my case (my loudest, its the most recognizable noise from the case..without it, the rest of the case is almost quiet). When i take the pump off of teh sticky pad and hold it in air, its silent, but once i put it on the pad, it makes its noise..kinda loud. Is there anyway to get the pump silent?
 
mount it on a piece of soft sponge.

it sounds like the vibration deadening pad on there is just a bit too firm. putting something soft between it and the case will stop vibration from transferring from the pump to the case, and stop the case from acting as a resonating box.
 
Some thick cardboard... Bubble wrap... Foam... wad up some of the red sheets of plastic papery stuff you always get under your motherboard. Anything like that'll work.

A sponge or some foam will work better, and not cost as much (especially if AC sells the mounts).

McMaster-Carr is where I buy them from and they work a hell of a lot better than a sponge. :p

I cant do those becuase I dont have holes in the botton of my case. Basically its stuck to the pad (im using the stick pad that came w/ the pump).

Edit: I just put some UV bubblewrap underneath the pump (haha na kidding...but that'd be hot..just regular bubblewrap) and its a little quieter. Here are the things making noise in my case:
HDDs (basically silent..I can barely hear them w/ all my fans turned off)
2 Rad 120mm fans (stock)
2 120mm thermaltake fans that came w/ the case, one is running 5v, the other 12 (both are pretty silent)
Chipset fan which I have turned down to a low RPM so I dont even hear it
PSU fan (I think thats also a tad noisy)
and pump (a little quieter)

What can I do to get my case silent? From a distance I can hear my case, but up close, its quiet. Whats up with that?
 
Suspend the hard drive. Silentpcreview has a good guide on this. Try a duct for the dual 120 res, and a fan controller. while I was gone
TheDuke it's been taken care of. A passive Zalman Chipset cooler, and a Seasonic S12 psu and you should have a dead silent pc.
 
the stacker that i have has noise dampening washers (i gues you can call them that) on each side of the drive cage so the drives are basically silent although im liking the drive suspension..easy access to them.. but that requires some modding and i dont think its worth it since the drives dont make any noise. My biggest issue are the fans...I have 5x12cm fans (PSU, 2xrad, back of case (5v), front of case cooling HDD's) a chipset fan that makes basically no noise since its turned down, and the pump which has quieted down. What do I do about the fans? If i turn them off, then the pump is the only thing that makes noise and if i turn the pump down, then the case is silent. What should I do?
 
exactly what fans do you have on the rad? depending on what you already have on there, you might be stuck if you need to improve noise from there.

the thermaltake fans in your case are a likely candidate for improvement, as is your chipset. you should move as much air into your case as you move out, and quiet fans all around will give you best balance of noise and cooling.

you can replace a PSU fan if you want, but you need to know what you're doing.

something that often helps is to put a sheet of carpet on the wall directly behind that computer. a lot of the noise that gets you of your case is getting out of the back, and if you prevent it from reflecting off of the wall then you don't hear it from where you sit.
 
the rad fans are stock. Whatever says on their site www.swiftnets.net for the mcr220 rad of the apex ultra kit. im sorry, the coolermaster (not thermaltake..dont know where i got that from) fans are in the case. the chipset fan now is harmless no? Or should I do that mod of a cpu HS? Dont have any carpet with me but what about that noise cancelling material that ive seen? my dad got some, put it around on the inside of his case, and its pretty damn quiet for a few 120mm fans in there and some more junk.
