<venting on>

Well...luckily I was just testing the H2O setup without it being in actual use. The pump was an old "Quite One" that I bought some time ago and never used until now. So...I can't exactly say that this was totally unexpected but still a pain in the arse! At least it burned out on the test bench rather than while cooling a CPU!

</end venting>

oh yeah...I'm headed out right now to get an Eheim 1262 pump...900GPH, 12 ft of head...good shizzle! :D

Petsmart online...so far no one has it in store.

See the table and the stats. It's a 1262 according to this site.

Jesus christ, that pump is liable to blow all your connections lol....

My 1250 is still going strong though it's held together by JB-Weld since an ungfortunate overtightening incident that cracked the outlet.

blow your connections?! shit, it'll suck your gerbil through and spit it out a bloody mess!!! $135 though - pretty nice...

:D

Well as it turns out I'll be going with something a bit less extreme but still with Eheim. :)
