Pulsing LED

I had plans on building a pulsing LED circuit for my inprogress case mod. I have all the to build the one that was on http://www.rabidhardware.net/index.php?id=5 however, that site has since been shut down (within the last couple of weeks).

Does anyone know of another site that may have that same schematic? It uses a M1458. Or does someone have a copy of that schematic saved somewhere?

Off the top of my head, I'd say make an astable multivibrator using a 555 timer (that takes two resistors and a cap, plus the 555 chip), and take the threshold voltage into an op-amp (used as a simple buffer). Or take a cheap microcontroller (like an AVR ATTiny25) and do it in software.

I was actually thinking of taking the voltage from the cap on the 555, and feeding that into an opamp, but both your links work as well. I'd opt for the first--it's simpler.
