Last night I decided to go with the this bad boy!! After researching this for awhile and reading about it at jonnyGURU.com which he highly recommended it. So I pulled the trigger on it and I have to say I'm very happy I did. Sharing is caring! ;)

There were a couple based on that same design, I believe the Hale was the first, Golden Green I believe was another(a little less pricey and some cabling changes) and of course Super Flowers own unit(forget name)

From the reviews I have read when they were released, and even today they are excellent power supplies, some cabling quirks, but excellent is a little pricey compared to some in the same category. I myself do not like the white, but it would look quite sharp in an all black or all white build, though I have not seen a golen or white colored motherboard yet :( Im thinking Cloud Tiger build :O

Super Flower is an OEM (like Seasonic, Delta, CWT, etc), Golden Green is a product line/platform from them.. it's one of the best Gold platforms on the market(on par with Seasonic X/Corsair AX).. you can buy it under the Super Flower brand in Europe and Asia.. and in NA you can find it in a few product lines from different manufacturers(NZXT Hale, Kingwin Lazer Gold, Sentey Golden Steel, Rosewill Lightning and Capstone).

Kingwin is also selling the Platinum line from Super Flower(which is equally bad ass and slightly more efficient) under two different product lines, Lazer Platinum and Stryker(fanless units).
It's as high end as it goes at them moment. Maybe this what you were thinking!

It's an excellent PSU, but that's an extremely high price for it. I hope you paid less.

I got it for like $161 compared to some e-tillers. It was like $40 dollars cheaper than NewEgg and other places I looked at! So I scored! :)
