Im going to purchase a BFG 6800 OC soon and I'm a bit concerned about my power supply. I have a 350W TurboLink Powersupply . My system is a 2.6 P4 HT, 80gb 7200 rpm, 52x Lg CDrewriter, and kingston 512mb ddr 333mhz ram. What are your opinions on adding this videocard using this power supply with the mentioned setup?

If I were you with that nice hardware, I would think about investing in a quality powersupply. Such as a PC Power and Cooling, Antec, Vantec, and Enermax. I have not heard anything good about Turbolink PSUs, and its always better to be safe. Considering the PSU hooks up to EVERYTHING

I'd simply try it and see. A 350 watts psu should be fine with your set-up.

I wouldn't risk simply trying it and see. If your PSU is under or over volting your hardware it wont be noticeable. It will just slowly cut the lifespan of your hardware way down.

For $20 that PSU can't possibly have high quality parts used in it. The PSU is the most important piece of hardware in your system because it converts AC power to DC and regulates the different voltages.

Stick with name brand PSU's like PC Power and Cooling, Antec, Enermax, Vantec, Thermaltake, Sparkle, and Fortron.

There are quality less expensive PSs out there. His particular PS, I'm not sure.

Hook it up and give it a go, you should be fine.

I would suggest that for a quality supply.. i'd say.. get rid of it.. get a quality supply... generic supplies are time bombs...

I would get a new power supply- I wouldn't risk it with the one you have.
