Okay so I check out the sticky
Cables: Sleeving Guide
and it’s good, and a must read before you go and start sleeving your wires. While it is pretty thourough, I thought it would be good if we all shared our tips and tricks here.

Okay first off, get the molex pin remover, it will save you tons of trouble. If you forgot but still want to do your sleeving that day, find a old female molex set up, get one out, how? Well I used a pin to get the "harpoon pins" through the hole. This is a pain in the ass so you wont want to do it 4 times each wire group. Anway, take this female molex and stretch it out, just enough to fit over another female molex, I stuck a pen inside, moved it around and stretched it out. There you have it, a nice cheap female molex remover.

Next, and this is most important and missing in the sticky, KNOW WHICH WIRE GOES IN WHICH HOLE!!! I've read that the blacks are just grounds, but just to be sure you will want to somehow number them or put a symbol on them (maybe a dot of silver ink on one) so you know which hole in the molex connector they go back in. (NOTE: On my Antec True 430 the 2 black wires for each molex are different, same color but different information on them, one has 80 degrees, the other 90, this is how I tell them apart. Also on my molexes there are numbers 1, 2, 3, 4) Yours may not have these numbers so its best to write them done on the molex for quicker reconnection.

Next, and this is just for looks, when you have the wire measured and are ready to cut your sleeving, cut it a bit shorter than it should be. I know that the Vantec sleeving kit tells you the exact opposite but it will tighten around the wires like a "Chinese finger trap" when pulled taught. If its too long it will be "too big" around the wires and not look as "clean." So if your wire is 16.5" long, cut the sleeving 15.75" long or around that number, trust me it will stretch tight over the wires, if it wont fit perfect (not long enough) you can cover your mistakes with the heat shrink!

Order of sleeving?
1. Remove molex.
2. Measure length of wire.
3. Cut sleeving to desired length (remember a bit shorter than the actual length)
4. Slide sleeving over the wire.
5. Place heat shrink over wire (2 parts, one on each end)
6. This is a must, replace molex, its so much easier to do this before the heat shrink is finished.
7. Tighter sleeving (stretch) and begin shrinking heat shrink.

I haven't tried it with a lighter but my sisters hair dryer works fine, but its slow as hell. I'll get back when I try the lighter.
I'll also get some pics up soon so my rant makes a bit more sense.

If I missed something, please add it, as this is here to serve us all.
